This course provides hands-on practice in the application of vascular sonography techniques for the evaluation of arterial and venous systems. Students will gain proficiency in image acquisition, documentation, and basic qualitative and quantitative assessment of the vascular system using volunteer models. Emphasis is placed on gray-scale, color Doppler, and spectral Doppler imaging, along with accurate application of medical terminology in image documentation and reporting. Practice will be performed in a controlled lab setting using volunteer models and simulation.
