This course provides advanced clinical experience in the acquisition, documentation, and assessment of echocardiographic and vascular sonographic examinations in adult patients. Students will perform comprehensive studies independently or with minimal assistance under the review of credentialed sonographers and interpreting physicians. Emphasis is placed on the integration of 2D, M-mode, color Doppler, spectral Doppler, and waveform analysis for cardiac and vascular imaging, as well as accurate use of medical terminology in reporting. This course represents the culmination of clinical training, preparing students to perform diagnostic exams in real-world hospital and clinic settings.
