Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of MLTS 2100 and good standing in the MLT program.
The scope of this course will include 135 hours in a clinical setting for application of theories and techniques with an emphasis on correlation of test results and problem solving skills associated with the principles, procedures, and interpretation of manual and automated, as well as general and advanced techniques as applied to specimen collection and the immunohematology, clinical immunology, clinical chemistry, clinical microbiology, hematology, coagulation, and/or body fluid analysis clinical laboratories.
