The study of the anatomy of the cardiac and vascular systems of the human body. This course will also include the basic study of normal and abnormal rhythms of the heart and the graphing of such (electrocardiograms) as well as basic cardiac pharmacology and the impact of the varied drugs on the cardiovascular system. Application of the electrocardiograms (ECG) and basic interpretation of the ECG are studied in the lab portion of this course.
