Prerequisite(s): Acceptance into clinical component of MLT Program and successful completion of MLTS 2100 with at least a C.
The scope of this course will include 225 hours in a clinical setting for application of theories and techniques with an emphasis on correlation of test results and problem solving skills associated with the principles, procedures, and interpretation of manual and automated, as well as general and advanced techniques as applied to specimen collection and the immunohematology, clinical immunology, clinical chemistry, clinical microbiology, hematology, coagulation, and/or body fluid analysis clinical laboratories.
