Prerequisite(s): C or better in CHEM 1133 This course is designed to give students a quantitative understanding of how pollutants react in the environment. This is an introductory course that will cover key environmental issue that relate to global society. This course will develop an understanding of chemical systems. It is intended to prepare students for more advanced courses through a rigorous study of quantitative analysis techniques and calculations. It will guide students to develop problem solving skills, analytical thinking and deductive reasoning.
